Dabco Transportation is seeking a Driver Recruiting, Retention & Compliance Specialist to support our growing transportation operation. With strong experience in 10-street, driver pulse, Driver files, and compliance.

This position works directly with company leadership and is responsible for assisting with driver recruiting, onboarding, retention, and DOT compliance. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, communicates well, follows through on tasks, and is comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Experience in trucking, transportation, driver recruiting, safety, or DOT compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities Driver Recruiting & Onboarding

Review incoming driver applications and identify qualified candidates.
Contact applicants by phone, text, and email.
Conduct initial phone interviews with prospective drivers.
Review employment history, driving qualifications, MVR information, and other hiring documentation.
Maintain regular communication with applicants throughout the hiring process.
Coordinate pre-employment requirements and driver onboarding.
Maintain an organized pipeline of prospective drivers.
Work with management to meet company driver staffing needs.

Driver Retention & Support

Maintain regular communication with company drivers.
Conduct follow-ups with newly hired drivers.
Help identify and address concerns that may affect driver retention.
Communicate driver concerns and recurring issues to management.
Assist with improving the onboarding and overall driver experience.
Conduct and document driver exit interviews when applicable.
Track driver turnover and retention information.

Safety & Compliance

Maintain organized and complete Driver Qualification (DQ) files.
Monitor driver licenses, medical certifications, MVR requirements, and other required documentation.
Assist with DOT and FMCSA compliance processes.
Assist with required Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse processes and documentation.
Coordinate annual MVR reviews and other recurring driver requirements.
Maintain driver safety training and policy documentation.
Assist with accident and incident documentation.
Track expiration dates and follow up on required documentation.
Identify missing or incomplete compliance items and communicate them to management.
Maintain accurate electronic driver records.

Qualifications

Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Professional written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable communicating with drivers and applicants by phone, text, and email.
Ability to manage multiple applicants, deadlines, and compliance requirements simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Comfortable learning and working with multiple computer-based systems.
Previous experience in trucking, transportation, driver recruiting, DOT compliance, safety, HR, or fleet operations is preferred.

Remote Work Requirements

This is a fully remote position. Candidates must have reliable high-speed internet and an appropriate workspace for conducting business calls and handling confidential information.

Dabco Transportation will provide a company cell phone for business-related calls and text messages and access to required company systems and software.

Schedule

This is a full-time position. The employee is expected to be available during established business hours and maintain consistent communication with company leadership, drivers, and applicants throughout the workday.
